Our sun screens with suction cups are specially designed for large glass surfaces such as sliding doors. The screens are fully custom-made so they fit perfectly onto the glass of your sliding door.
You can easily mount the sun screens directly onto the glass without drilling, screws or permanent installation. Both interior and exterior installation are possible, depending on your situation. When installing outside, make sure there is enough space between the sliding door panels (at least 3.5 cm) so the door can still open and close smoothly.

Sliding doors are often exposed to direct sunlight and therefore receive a lot of UV radiation. At Sun Eclipse, both the screen fabric and the vacuum suction cups are resistant to UV radiation and discolouration, keeping them looking good for years.
If your screen is installed on the outside, it may become dirty faster due to dust or rain. Thanks to the special coating, dirt hardly adheres to the screen, meaning you usually only need to clean it once per year. Use the special Sun Eclipse cleaner and a soft cloth to keep the screen, suction cups and glass in optimal condition.
After the warm season, simply remove the sun screens and store them clean and dry until next year.

The screens are attached directly onto the glass using vacuum suction cups, without the need to drill or screw into the frame. Because the screens are made to measure, they fit perfectly on large glass surfaces such as sliding doors.
Yes, provided there is enough clearance. The suction cups are 3.5 cm high, so please check in advance whether your sliding doors can still fully open when the screens are installed. If there is sufficient space between the sliding sections, the sliding doors will remain fully functional.
TIP:
Our screens can be installed on both the inside and outside of the window. If there is insufficient space for the 3.5 cm high suction cup on one section of your sliding doors, you can simply mount that specific screen on the opposite side of the glass.
Exterior installation is the most effective option because it blocks sunlight before the glass heats up. This keeps the heat outside more effectively. If exterior installation is not possible or less practical, the screens can also easily be mounted on the inside. Even with interior installation, you will noticeably reduce the temperature in your living room.
